In Cold Blood
I just finished Truman Capote's In Cold Blood. It was gruesome at times but very well written. It has fueled my paranoia about someone breaking into the house and not necessarily killing me but just being there in my space. The work was informative and had a lot of information about the town's people of Holcomb, Kansas and about the killers. The book takes you right up to the hangings of the two men.
I also saw the movie a couple of week's back and it made me want to read the book. I'm glad to have read it but am also glad that it's over. I'm anxious to read something else of Capote's. Maybe something less gruesome.
